Antigua – Life’s a Beach

The Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda have a beach for every day of the year. No joke. There are 366 beaches on the islands so you could go to a new beach every day and not repeat for an entire year. Join us while we discover as many of the best beaches that Antigua and Barbuda have to offer and share a few of their secrets along the way.

Dickenson Bay Beach provides an ideal beach experience by day, with excellent social and food options by night. Fryes Beach is absolutely spectacular, so don’t forget to take-in the view from Dennis Cocktail Bar and Restaurant. If snorkeling is your thing, you’ll definitely want to check out the crystal clear waters of Darkwood Beach. Another favourite spot for snorkeling is Long Bay, where you can take in some of the 300+ species of reef fish that call Antigua home. Halfmoon Bay is a nearly-perfect crescent beach, with pristine water and amazing rocks nearby where you can safely watch the waves.

The island of Barbuda is a quick 20-minute helicopter ride or short ferry trip from Antigua. After fuelling-up with some delicious seafood at Uncle Roddy’s, you’ll be ready to check out the soft white sand beaches of Barbuda. Princess Diana Beach is just one of the hundreds of nearly deserted beaches that Barbuda has to offer.
